EXPO Generates Leads For Merchandisers
Merchandisers exhibiting displays in the EXPO’s Merchandising Solution Center said the show helped generate leads, ideas and offered a chance to get in front of existing customers.
Dan Arvin, salesman with Pioneer Plastics, Inc., which provides custom plastic moulding, said this show is far better than others he’s attended. It’s had high traffic, quality attendees and a lot of “heavy hitters.” Not only does the show offer a place to meet potential clients, but it also presents the opportunity to further develop relationships with existing customers. “It’s a good combination for us,” he said.
Rick Kayden, regional sales manager for Trion Industries, Inc., a POP and fixture manufacturer, said this was the company’s second time with a booth at the show and they have been able to generate sales leads both years. Further, he said being on the floor with the many candy manufacturers has led to an exchange of ideas for new merchandising designs based on new pack types being unveiled.
For KHM Plastics, the EXPO offers good exposure for both retail attendees and manufacturers for their POP displays, fixtures and bins, according to Vice-President Glenn Murphy. And in its second year at the show, he said the company has once again been able to generate leads.
